Newsletter intep today #3/10 out now!
Time is plays a key role in the latest edition of our newsletter intep today #3/10. In some cases, time is critical; in other cases, the entire life cycle needs to be considered.
Life cycle costing
A new life cycle costing scheme for the real estate sector has recently been published providing real estate stakeholders with a tool for an objective and transparent comparison and evaluation of different variants based on life cycle costs. Additional information can be found under “Brennpunkte” (focus).
A 60 day “time leap”
Clients are always interested in keeping the design and construction times as short as possible. After all, time is money. However, a design phase as short as 6 months and an implementation period of no more than 60 days, as in the case of the refurbishment of the “Montreal” auditorium of the Basel Congress Center, means an extraordinary challenge for everyone involved in the project. The “Zeitsprung” (time leap) section contains a detailed report on the successful realization of this ambitious project.
Uninterrupted use
The Aug.Prien real estate company has completed a pioneering project in downtown Hamburg. The “BrahmsQuartier” residential and office building was completed without causing any interruptions in the building’s use, an outstanding achievement which was reflected by excellent user satisfaction. The “vollendet” (completed) section offers detailed information on this project.
