“Sustainable building – shaping the future“ Symposium
bautec in Berlin
The “bautec” international trade fair for construction and building services, themed “Building for the future“, will be held in Berlin from February 21st – 25th, 2012. The congress will include the “Sustainable building – shaping the future” symposium, put on by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS), with representatives from politics, businesses and the construction and real estate sector discussing topics such as ecology, living quality, sustainability and social cohesion.
Sustainable building expert Thomas Rühle
Thomas Rühle, R&D manager at Intep Munich and DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) auditor, will participate in the panel discussion “The role of the private sector”, discussing the conflict of interest between sustainability and building certification.
