Congress "sustainable building and Evaluation" on 19 and 20 February 2009 in Vienna
Parallel to the fair "construction and energy” in Vienna the congress is dedicated to the evidence and certification of sustainability of buildings. Apart from workshops with detailed information on quality assurance in passive houses, international specialists give lectures on sustainable development and social sustainability.
Thomas Rühle, business unit manager at Intep Munich, speaks on the subject "System tool of MINERGIE-ECO – a software to evaluate the indoor air quality in buildings".
MINERGIE-ECO is a building label for high energy-efficiency, ecological design, healthy indoor air quality and high level of comfort. In collaboration with Intep, a new “System tool” has been developed. On the subject of health, it contains a “Room Model”, that allows a rating of indoor air quality of pollutants at an early stage. Core piece is a database containing emissions like TVOC and formaldehyde of often used materials. Besides, the “System tool” bundles all ne-cessary data in one tool and is the next step in user friendlyness and data integration.
