International Industrial Construction Seminar May 13th-15th 2009 in Vienna

The paradigm change brought about by the discussion on climate change and the greenhouse effect has also reached the international real estate sector. Sustainability and energy efficiency have become key target figures of real estate management, invariably required by all investors. Sustainable building certificates are the basis for a clear determination of targets or establishing rankings in one’s own portfolio.

The symposium provides a platform for experts in the fields of science, architecture, engineering and industry to discuss practical issues of sustainable industrial construction. Cornelia Reimoser, senior manager at Intep will give a lecture titled “Real estate management – risk reduction and value retention through integral quality?” She will present current practical examples to illustrate the extent to which sustainability criteria contain traditional real estate trading qualities and to explain clients’ and investors’ motivations to invest in sustainability.
