Successful business year 2008 of Intep Annual report 2008
2008 was a very successful business year for Intep with a 24% turnover gain compared with 2007. An important share of this increase can be attributed to the growing demand for our consulting services in the field of sustainable building and our building project management services in the building stock sector. In addition, our new Hamburg offices have allowed us to significantly expand our business activities in northern Germany.
Positive 2008 results will be sustained in 2009
The positive development at Intep is going to continue in 2009. Project acquisitions in the first quarter clearly exceeded our expectations. Despite the pessimistic overall economic forecast Intep has continually been adding new clients to its portfolio. We have also been able to expand our activities in the public real estate sector as the national stimulus packages have lead to an increased demand for our consulting services.
New organizational structure
Our new management structure has also proven to be very successful. Intep is made up of four business divisions each with a clear and distinct focus. Our experts in the field of Building Project Management offer project management and project steering services in the building stock sector. Our Organization Consulting division helps businesses identify and implement necessary organizational and process-oriented changes. Our Sustainability Consultants help businesses adopt sustainability strategies and implement them in their business processes. Our Building and Engineering Consulting experts provide clients with holistic energy and service concepts for neighbourhoods and buildings. We currently have 35 employees in Zurich, Munich and Hamburg and we will continue to expand our team at all three locations in 2009.
