Building for the 2000-Watt Society – State of Affairs

State of Affairs in Zurich from 5 – 22 November 2009
Zurich discusses sustainable building. For two weeks a tight agenda including exhibitions, public debates, movies and a two-day international symposium will place sustainable building at the center of public interest. What would architecture look like in the 2000-Watt-Society? What processes and measures can lead to long-term economic solutions? How will architecture, urban development and the quality of the existing building stock be affected? These questions and possible solutions will be discussed at the symposium addressing decision makers and experts from engineering, architecture, economy and politics.
Intep supports the Zurich event and will be hosting the workshop on “Lebenszyklus als Planungshorizont” (the life cycle, a planning horizon) at the symposium on 17 and 18 November 2009.
