CBS report on the 2000-Watt Society in Zurich

In last week’s evening news, the U.S. television channel CBS broadcast a report on the 2000-Watt Society in Zurich. Intep co-founder and long-time CEO, Roland Stulz who is currently director of the Novatlantis Institute at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich presented information on the 2000-Watt Society. In 2006, the city of Zurich committed to the 2000-Watt targets and adopted a number of measures within the legislative goal 2006 – 2010. Intep provided support for the city of Zurich in implementing the methodology of life-cycle costs, resource management and the mechanization of properties.

At the two day symposium in Rüschlikon on the 17th and 18th of November internationally renowned speakers discussed the issue of architecture and sustainability and presented new approaches. Several workshops provided an opportunity for an intensive exchange of experience. The symposium was organized and hosted by the city of Zurich; Intep was one of the sponsors who provided their know-how for the organization of this important event.
