Frankfurt waste management company FES cleans up
New property management
The Frankfurt waste management company FES turned to Intep for the re-organization of its property management. FES is the leading full-range provider of waste disposal and cleaning services in the Rhine/Main region. The company including its subsidiaries currently employs around 1,500 people and operates 20 properties with a total area of approx. 100,000 m2 (over 1 million sq ft) in the Frankfurt metropolitan area.
Process-oriented FM principles
In 2008, the management of FES decided to readjust its property management based on the future development of the company’s core business. In 2010 the focus will be on establishing and consolidating the re-organization of the property management within the company. The project team expects more transparency as well as clear responsibilities and processes. By focussing on a property management which is based on process-oriented principles according to modern facility management, company-wide acceptance is also expected to increase.
For additional information please read the real estate magazine article by Klaus Peter (Head of Property Management at FES), René Sigg (Managing Partner at Intep) and Simone Schäffer (Head of Organization Consulting at Intep).

The FES property portfolio includes a state-of-the-art waste heat plant.
